Viet Nguyen

I am a second-year Ph.D. student at Johns Hopkins University, where I am advised by Prof. Vishal M. Patel. My research centers on building multimodal AI agents that can perceive, remember, and reason about the visual world, with broader interests in computer vision and generative modeling.

Previously, I was an AI Research Intern at Qualcomm AI Research in Vietnam, where I worked with Dr. Toan Tran and Dr. Anh Tran. I received my B.E. in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2023, graduating with the highest GPA in my class.
